Natalie Vivian Pearson affectionately known as “Tiny” and “Nanny” passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

Natalie, age 72, was born on March 10, 1951, in the Bronx, NY to Nancy Berkeley-Frierson and Daniel Frierson.

Natalie was raised in Northeast Bronx in Edenwald Houses and attended Jane Addams High School in the Bronx. She met her high school sweetheart Boyce Henry Pearson, Jr. who on April 26, 1976, became her Husband for life. Together they would go on to create an inspirational and impactful life operating in excellence for over 55 years. Boyce and Natalie devoted over 20 years to military service.

Natalie was awarded the highest distinguished medal a civilian can receive for service for the Field Artillery, “The Molly Pitcher Award” for her exemplary voluntary service to the men and women of their unit during Desert Storm.

In 1983, while stationed at Fort Hood Texas Natalie and the entire family attended The Christian House of Prayer and received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Also, both Natalie and Boyce are graduates (October 26, 2014) of the Sonship School of the Firstborn in Killeen, Texas (Pastoral Course) led by Pastors Nate & Valerie Holcomb. Fulfilling the Great Commission Jesus set forth in Matthew 28:19,20, “Go and make disciples of all nations”.teaching them to obey everything I have command you ”(NIV)

Natalie was also the proud Owner/Operator of her own Child Day Care Service, "Little Disciples" from 1997 to 2002, where she loved, cared and cherished them all.

Together they raised their two amazing children: LaQuinta and Du’Ane. Natalie served as a great role model to their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the entire family.

Natalie’s life was a living example of the Proverbs 31 woman “A woman of excellence (one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous)”.
